GAMA Presents: Detroit Red: A Listening Session

Join LuFuki and Destiny Muhammad at Wyldflowr Arts for an exclusive listening session of Detroit Red. Witness the co-composing process in real-time of this work-in-progress production, which explores Malcolm X’s love for “jazz” and his impact on “jazz” musicians and Black liberation movements. This will be the first time the Detroit and Oakland members of Detroit Red are rehearsing together in-person!

The session will end with a brief Q/A with LuFuki and Destiny Muhammad about Detroit Red and how this production came about and continues to grow and evolve.
