Erika Oba and Roopa Mahadevan's collaboration is inspired by their shared interest in exploring diaspora through music. Joined by Chris Trinidad on bass and Kevin Amos on drums, they seamlessly integrate jazz, musical theater, improvisation, Japanese folk music and Indian classical (Carnatic) music to create new cultural pathways.
