Soulful vocalist/composer Derek Lassiter debuts his latest single, Years & Years--a meditation on the passage of time, love, and resilience. "Years & Years" is a testament to the memories and moments that shape us, year after year.

A mainstay in the Bay Area arts scene for nearly three decades, Derek's music fuses elements of soul, jazz, R&B and gospel to render a surprisingly joyful account of the journey through dark days that ultimately deliver us back into the light.

Years & Years is dedicated to ancestor Blackberri, a musician, actavist who paved the way for many.
