Chantil Dukart (Indigenous Jazz Pianist & Vocalist)

Chantil is a Denver-based, Alaska-raised indigenous jazz pianist and singer with roots in the Tsimshian and Sugpiaq peoples of Alaska. She recently performed at the Kennedy Center in DC with the Indigenous Big Band featuring special artist Esperanza Spalding. She is a Blue Desert Artist, Native Launchpad Award Recipient, touring member of Pamyua (Inuit soul group), and a freelancing composer that recently scored a horror composition for an Indigenous Theatre play. As a writer, Chantil has released two albums, and has composed hundreds of compositions in her musical career. An extremely versatile artist, she has written funk, folk, classical, jazz, reggae and brings a deep soulfulness, sense of humor and sincerity to the stage.
